OK, so it is cold enough that we took the air conditioner out of the window and closed that up. Damon & I like to sleep on the cool side, but the blankets are on and we are cuddling to keep warm. It is a cold snap unlike any seen in several years. On the news they are saying we are having the coldest temps since 2009. Usually when we get a cold snap it is for a day or two. This began earlier this week and it is only getting colder with the weekend seeing a high of 30 and low of 21.
This is when I am thankful for Amazon fresh and being able to stay in and have some soup or hot chili and watch movies. Saturday we plan to deck the halls for Christmas. Not sure to what extent but do want a bit of festive mood in the apartment as this will be our first Christmas together. Also, the clock has begun to tick down to Monday when I turn 54 and not quite sure what we are going to do at this point. Will keep you posted. Stay warm out there!
