For the past few days we have had a visitor of sorts from NASA. If is called "The Guppy" and as you can see from the photos, there is a reason for this.
As you can see it was all over the place in the Seattle area, by the Space Needle and down at Boeing Field available for tours. It came to the Emerald City to deliver a space simulator. Somehow, we ended up #5 on the list to get a shuttle. Mind you, there are only 4. So NASA decided to make nice and steal the simulator from Houston and send it up here. Oh the people in Houston are not happy. What I still do not understand is why they put most of the shuttles on the east coast and did not spread them around. Just asking! It left this morning and is headed back to Houston. I hope it cools off down there soon. Cannot believe how this summer is proving to be so hot and miserable for so much of the country.
