There is just something about this time of year that is just so amazing as the trees change color. Recently I discovered a new way to get home once I exit Lake City Way and it takes me through a more residential neighborhood along 35th Avenue. Stunning is the word I have to use to describe the experience. By the time I drive the 50 blocks or so I am so much calmer and relaxed than when I do the Lake City Way bumper to bumper crawl. Right now all the trees are in the transition phase and so each day is a wash of new colors to enjoy. To find the little joys in life makes all the other stuff manageable at times.
