A Sure Sign of Autumn
What is it about seeing all the pumpkins and gourds at this time of year. I just love it and the wonderful colors that make for a beautiful display. While many do not care for this time of year, it really does bring out the energy in me for some reason. Watching the trees release their leaves and now the days grow darker it makes for a wonderful to snuggle up with a good book or jump under the covers and watch some TV. However you mark the season, I hope you have fun with it.
On the news this morning they shared that for the month of September we had a total of 6.17" of rain, the wettest September ever. Mind you, over 5" of that came since last Friday! But we were lucky, Olympia, the state capital, had over 9" of rain. At least we are starting to dry out.
Oh and to my siblings - a special 1st day of the month message - pumpkin, pumpkin, pumpkin!
