Monday was HORRIBLE! We fired 5 people in outlying offices. Oh, sorry, I am suppose to use the term laid-off. Whatever. I was already miserable at that when Mark dropped the bombshell on me. I am not hosting the Florida trip and oh by the way you can't go on the cruise, I need you here. The only reason I have hung in for this long was the opportunity to still travel on the company's dime. It makes up for a lot of the crap I have been dealing with. So went home and proceeded to get quite ill. Physically ill. Fever and diarrhea among other things = not fun. Ruled out food poison and that is when I knew it was due to stress. And that my friends was how the week began!
