My friend Carl arrived tonight and we enjoyed a great Thai dinner. But all too soon he was crashed out as he had worked all night before boarding a plane to fly up here. He's a nurse and a physician's assistant and works crazy hours. But he got in safely and we welcomed his arrival by cracking open a bottle of Washington Merlot and catching up on all that was fit to chat about. He was asleep by 9pm. I decided to stay up to watch the results show for DWTS. The vacation that was to be is on hold for the most part. Did make it in yesterday, today and will go in tomorrow, oh joy!

Carl Arrives & Sleeps
