Ten Years Ago Today...

I remember waking up at my apt. in Portland on 22nd Avenue and going in to get coffee going and I turned on the TV. I thought to myself, "it is too early to have Diane Sawyer on?" Little did I realize what was happening and soon calling everyone I knew telling them to turn on their TV's and most were tuned in by the time the 2nd plane hit. The rest of the week was numbing. It was unreal seeing the towers collapse on live TV. A year later Mick and I were in Paris on the anniversary and they did a visual tribute at their city hall much like the above.
