My Mom was in Germany when this happened. It is a day that will never be forgotten. To think it all happened without computers or cell phones or any of the modern technology. Saw coverage of the remembrance ceremony in France. Interesting comment was that back when Reagan began making remembrance speeches he was talking to men who were there and were all part of the war and now since Clinton it has been a matter of being told what had happened. History is alive and we are seeing it materialize. Interesting.
