London Olympics in 30 Days

Woke up at 3am this morning to see live coverage of the Olympic rings being dropped into place on the Tower Bridge.  Leave it to CNN to carry it live.  Each ring is the size of a double decker bus to give perspective.  Hey, that was the reporter's words, not mine. 

One of my favorite bridges in London.  What wonderful memories I have of my 5 trips over the past 15 years to this favorite city of mine.  Hopefully returning in the near future, perhaps next year if all works out.  During the Olympics, all the various bridges will be lit up in different colors reflecting the Olympic rings.  Opening ceremonies are Friday evening, July 27th on the NBC network, just in case you are interested.
