Ah the memories this picture brought back when I got it from a dear friend back in NYC. Rebecca was commuting into the city yesterday and sent this photo of the Manhattan skyline. I remember several years ago...OK, so more like 25 years or so, when my sister came up to New York City for Thanksgiving and it was so bitterly cold. We watched the parade and then went had Thanksgiving dinner at a diner. The next day it was still bitterly cold and we went out to The Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. The wind was howling and all I can say is ah youth! This year it will be off to Whistler, but I plan on watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade since it is such a tradition.
