Heading South to See Mom

In a couple of days I'll be driving south to Ashland to visit Mom, Janet and family.  Along the way down and back I will get to see some friends.  This all comes about because I found a really great picture I took of Mom last December when we were out celebrating an early Christmas dinner. 

In other news, boy, last night we had quite the lightning storm and it woke me up around 1am.  Fell asleep about a half hour later, but not until after watching quite the show outside.  Now mind you, this has absolutely nothing to do with the title of the post, but hey, it's Monday and my mind is wandering.  Short post, but hey, that's ok!
