Hey folks, well I discovered late yesterday I am battling a mild case of Cellulitus. Not fun. Dealt with doctor this day and so confined to bed and a lot of water with the anti-biotic regime. For those who do not know what it is:
Cellulitis is a diffuse inflammation of connective tissue with severe inflammation of dermal and subcutaneous layers of the skin. Cellulitis can be caused by normal skin bacteria, and often occurs where the skin has previously been broken: cracks in the skin, cuts, blisters, burns, insect bites, surgical wounds, or sites of intravenous catheter insertion. Skin on the lower legs is most commonly affected by this infection, though cellulitis can occur on any part of the body. The mainstay of treatment is antibiotics, and recovery periods usually last from 7-10 days.
