Farewell Sheikh Jamshed Elk Kenneth Storer

Many faeries are gathering in Portland to celebrate the life of Jamshed Ken Storer. He touched many by his being an elder of the Radical Faerie, Sufi and Breitenbush communities. He enters my mind over coffee many times and makes it a ritual. As my dear friend Mick posted, if life is ripples in a pond, he was a tsunami. You will be missed brother.

With the resonance of Zikr still echoing in his room, the breath of Sheikh Jamshed Elk Kenneth Storer left his body, October 8th, 2010, at 3:15am, While listening to the Zikr of Compassion and Mercy, he let out four or five beautiful sighs, you could tell he was in the presence of the Divine, a beautiful song and then he was gone. Leo and I were at his side holding his hands and bearing witness to the profound beauty of his passing. Thank you all so much for your prayers and love that surrounded him.

Each of our hearts know the only words which mean anything in this moment.

October 8th, 2010, Jamshed was buried as he wished: wrapped in the wood and buried in the soil of his beloved home of 20 years, Breitenbush Hot Springs, Oregon.

Goodbye our dearly and sweetly beloved Friend. We know you will always be with us. All we ask of you is forever to remember us, as loving you.
