Let The Race Begin

There are certain programs that bring out the fun in people and one of them is called The Amazing Race.  My sister and I watch it weekly and last night it started again.  During the show we text each other back and forth and it does get quite funny at times.  The shouting and screaming, like Janet says, "that is what the mute button is for."  And the two teams we both thought would be out quickly are not.
The Amazing Race 22 is the twenty-second installment of the reality television show The Amazing Race.  It features eleven teams of two, each with a pre-existing relationship, in a race around the world.  The season will span 30,000 miles through nine countries in five different continents. The season features the Race's first visit to the French overseas country of French Polynesia, where teams skydived above the island of Bora Bora. Other confirmed tasks and travel destinations include "Shemozzle racing" in New Zealand, hunting scorpions with Bushmen in Botswana, and climbing the north face of the Eiger in Switzerland.

Last night it was leftover cole slaw and cooked shrimp on top with cocktail sauce.  Quite tasty and after watching The Amazing Race, it was time to call it a night.  The weekend had been quite interesting and in the end I was glad I could begin laughing again, especially after the ordeal of last Friday.  What I do know is that this day, while challenging will be all the better knowing that the owner is no longer in Seattle, but rather in Chicago.  For many it is a holiday this day, but for some, like me, it is not.
