There is something about this day that makes me laugh in that in Mexico it is not nearly as celebrated as it is in the states. Much as the flower industry has created more and more holidays that are to be remembered, I think this is one that the restaurant industry has helped to promote getting people out and drinking. What better way to celebrate than to make a quick drive over the border to Hilt, California and get all the liquor ordered by myself and friends. It is down from past times and that is fine in that Janet and I have luggage. We head north at 10:30am and it will be a festive drive. Likely stop for lunch along the way and it will be fun to watch the finale of "The Amazing Race" together this evening. Tomorrow it will be up early and on to the office.
